Vision 2020 was implemented and one of the goals was to establish a scientific and
innovative society. STEM education plays a big role as the catalyst to meet the challenge and demand of our present and future economy. UTP, Prof. Dr. Noorhana Yahya and her team in collaboration with SMK Jati to organize a STEM Carnival for secondary level students in Perak. By organizing this event, STEM is able to integrates students into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world application. It teaches students computational thinking and focuses on the real world applications of problem solving.
